Meet Our Team

Jeff Mauck , DVM

Dr. Mauck attended undergraduate and veterinary school at Purdue University and graduated in 1975 with his DVM. After graduation he returned to Boonville, and began practicing veterinary medicine at East Pines Animal Clinic with his late father, Dr. Benjamin Mauck. Over the years Dr. Mauck has had a high interest in small animal orthopedic surgery and has invested many hours of continuing education to further his skills in that area. He currently resides in Boonville with his wife, Patty.


Traci Scamahorn , DVM

Dr. Scamahorn attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York where she received her B.S. in Animal Science in 1994. She then attended Purdue University's Veterinary School and graduated in 1998 with her DVM. After moving to Boonville, she began practicing veterinary medicine at East Pines Animal Clinic. She currently resides in Boonville with her husband, Brad, and three children.


Sara Mauck Burns, DVM, DACVS-SA

Dr. Burns received her associate's degree at Vincennes University in 1998. She then attended the University of Missouri-St.Louis and received her B.S. in Biology in 2000. Dr. Burns Purdue University's Veterinary School and graduated in 2004 with her DVM. She continued her education at the University of Georgia as a small animal rotating intern in 2005. Following the internship, she completed a three-year small animal surgical residency at the University of Georgia from 2005-2008. In 2008, she joined East Pines Animal Clinic, and in 2012, she became a Board Certified Small Animal Surgeon. She currently resides in Boonville with her husband, Shawn, and two children.


Julie Weber, DVM

Dr. Weber received her B.S. in Biology and Animal Science at Purdue University in 2005. She then attended Purdue University's Veterinary School and graduated in 2009 with her DVM. She started practicing veterinary medicine at East Pines Animal Clinic that same year. Dr. Weber grew up in Kokomo, IN and currently resides in Chrisney with her husband, Matthew, and four children.


Breanna Brash, DVM, MS, DACVO

Dr. Brash grew up in southern New Hampshire and first moved to Indiana to attend undergraduate school at Purdue University, where she received her B.S in Animal Science in 2009. Dr. Brash attended veterinary school at Purdue University and graduated in 2012 with her DVM. She then continued her education by completing a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at Louisiana State University from 2012-2013. Following her internship, she completed a residency in comparative veterinary ophthalmology and received a master’s degree at The Ohio State University from 2013-2016. In 2016, she joined East Pines Animal Clinic, and in 2017, she became a Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist. Dr. Brash currently resides in Rockport with her husband, Matthew, two children, and three dogs.


Don Lutton, DVM

Dr. Lutton graduated from United States Naval Academy in 1963 after active duty in the Navy. He then attended Purdue University’s Veterinary School and graduated in 1975 with his DVM. He practiced in many locations including owning a practice in Newburgh, Indiana for 29 years. He joined East Pines Animal Clinic in June of 2017. Dr. Lutton currently resides with his wife in Newburgh, Indiana.


Tara Foldenauer, DVM

Dr. Foldenauer received her B.S. in Biology-Chemistry from Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana in 1995.  She attended Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1999.  Dr. Tara currently resides in Newburgh with her husband Aaron, two children, two cats, and golden retriever.
